Northlake Children's Chorus

Beverly Blissit - NCCMA Director
Beverly is the Children’s Choir Coordinator at Roswell UMC and Director of the Northlake Children’s Chorus and Music Academy. She teaches piano, voice, guitar, drumming, preschool music classes and enjoys donating her time connecting families to excellent music teachers in our community. Beverly has 37 years experience as a children’s choir director along with certification in Orff instruments and Kindermusik. She has been a clinician at the Orff National Convention and led workshops on children’s choirs throughout the United States.


Jennifer Trezek - Piano & Flute

Jennifer earned her B.S. in Music Education with a Piano Concentration from Georgia Southwestern State University. She has been teaching private lessons for 21 years. She regularly serves as a church musician, and performs for community groups. Jennifer brings her vast experience and professional musicianship to our Academy. 


Mirela Dragan-Piano

Mirela has been a piano teacher and accompanist for the past 25 years. Her positive attitude, patience and dedication makes her a favorite with her students. Mirela received a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Piano Performance from Georgia State. She graduated with honor from the School of Fine Arts in Bucharest 1976-1986, and attended the School of Popular Arts in Bucharest. She received the John Schneider Memorial Scholarship for exceptional pianistic talent at Georgia State University.  She has served as accompanist at Johns Creek Christina Church, churches in Romania and was the accompanist for 1Voice (female recording group). She also teaches at the New School of Music in Atlanta. 


Cecilia Trode-Violin

NCCMA is glad to welcome back Cecilia Trode~Cecilia began playing piano at age 6, and started violin and viola at age 11. Cecilia studied Viola Performance at Georgia State University and has just completed a MAsters degree in Viola performance from Northwestern University.  Music is her passion, and teaching brings her the greatest joy! She loves to cater to each individual student's needs and personality. Cecilia is known for being gentle, yet firm, and  fostering a learning environment full of fun and positivity.
